Welcome to the 2012 Birkdale Barracudas Swim Season!
Practices begin Monday, May 14th. Below is the schedule. The ages listed are only a guideline. If you are unsure of which group you are in, go with your age group and the coaches will let you know.
Advanced 5:15 - 6:15 (Ages 11 & up)
Intermediate 6:15 - 7:00 (Ages 8 - 10)
Beginners 7:00 - 7:30 (Ages 7 & under)
Dates to Remember:
May 17 - Dairy Queen Night - Please visit Dairy Queen (at exit 25 next to Food Lion) any time on the 17th and tell them you are with the Birkdale Barracudas. They will donate a portion of the proceeds to the swim team.
May 24 - Parent Meeting/Pizza Party - All swimmers will have practice from 5:00 - 6:30. We will have a new parent meeting (if you didn't go at New Swimmer Orientation) at 5:00. There will be a mandatory all parent meeting at 6:00. We will have pizza at 6:30 - free to all swimmers and families. The pool will remain open until 9:00.
Please RSVP to aprilagosto@roadrunner.com with how many from your family will attend.
Other Information:
If you haven't checked t-shirt sizes, t-shirts will be at practices to try.
Swim caps will be available for purchase at practices.
We'll see everyone at the pool on Monday!
SwimMAC Clinics - SwimMAC is offering clinics for Summer League swimmers this spring to get you tuned up for June. Information is on the SwimMAC website (http://www.teamunify.com/ncmac). Click on Clinics/Moss Creek at the top and then click on Saturday Clinics at Birkdale. The clinics are only $5. Registration is limited.
