The
Birkdale Swim Team program
is designed to teach proper
technique, develop competitive
principles of good sportsmanship and
to encourage a love for the sport of
swimming. The team is a member of
the North Meck Swim League consisting
of six swim teams from Birkdale,
Leacroft, MacAulay, Wynfield Forest,
Wedgewood and Walden Ridge/Latta
Springs. The Swim Team is open to all
Birkdale children 5 to 18 years old
who meet both the swim team eligibility requirements and the minimum swimming
requirements. Practices are held
on weekday mornings and evenings.
Swim meets typically are held on
either Monday, Tuesday and/or
Thursday evenings.
